Dr. Jeff Pedersen
Dr. Jeff Pedersen founded Brain to Brain Teaching with the intent to help anyone who teaches to become extraordinary in their practice. He is passionate and committed to helping educators reach their full potential in becoming positive leaders of influence on those they serve. He has worked in the educational community for over 16 years in K-12 environments and post-secondary institutions. Jeff earned his B.A. at Indiana University, M.Ed. and Ph.D. at University of Louisville. He has authored and co-authored several articles and resources on curriculum design, leadership, and character development for classroom application. Jeff’s attention to detail and dedication to improving education makes Brain to Brain Teaching a tool for all educators.
Jim McMillan
Jim McMillan
Jim McMillan is Director of Curriculum at Brain to Brain Teaching. For over twenty years, Jim has been a teacher, coach, and trainer serving thousands of students and teachers across the United States, China, Italy, Ireland, and Scotland in brain-compatible instructional practices. Through his warm and comedic personality, Jim makes the difficult look easy and always provides those he serves with the personal support and attention they need to be successful. After just one lesson, you will be hooked on Jim!
Dr. Pat Wolfe
Dr. Pat Wolfe
Dr. Pat Wolfe is a former teacher of Kindergarten through 12th grade, administrator, and adjunct university professor. Over the past 25 years, as an educational consultant, she has conducted workshops for thousands of administrators, teachers, educational boards, and parents in school districts throughout the United States and in over 50 countries internationally. Her major area of expertise is the application of brain research to educational practice. She is an award-winning author and has appeared on numerous video series, satellite broadcasts, radio shows, and television programs. She completed her undergraduate work in Oklahoma and her postgraduate studies in California. Dr. Wolfe’s presentations are meaningful and mesmerizing. If you have never experienced Dr. Wolfe, you are in for a treat!

Barbara Pedersen has been hailed as one of the great educational leaders of our time. For the last five decades, Barbara has been a teacher and consultant serving thousands of educators across the world. As a pioneer in brain-compatible learning, Barbara has strived to make learning meaningful and engaging for all learners in her classrooms and trainings. Her passion for teaching and brain science led her to developing an instructional process that has been used worldwide for nearly 30 years. Her enthusiasm for life and learning is contagious! Martha Kaufedlt
Martha Kaufedlt
Martha Kaufeldt is an international consultant, coach, author, and keynote speaker. She specializes in curriculum development, differentiated instruction, school restructuring, assessment, and brain-compatible learning strategies. Her particular strengths address differentiated instructional strategies for diverse classrooms. She has taught a variety of grades at the elementary level and language arts programs in middle and high schools. For her work in the San Francisco Bay area, Martha was awarded the Mason-McDuffie-Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. She earned her BA in education at San Francisco State University and MS in human behavior from City University. Martha’s vast amount of experience and clear, concise presentation of strategies will keep you wanting more!

Jan Holsopple
Jan Holsopple has served in the field of education for over 25 years working as a teacher, consultant, coach, and school counselor. Her passion is to cultivate positive-thinking school communities and work with students in building self-efficacy, strong work ethic, and attributes of leadership in their school, home and community. She thrives on supporting students and teachers in creating a solid educational foundation based on leadership, character and collaboration. Jan earned her BA and MS in Education, MS in Counseling, and is a licensed teacher and counselor. Jan’s love for education and her welcoming approach in instructional delivery makes learning the Brain to Brain Teaching strategies enjoyable and meaningful.
Aaron Roberson
Aaron Roberson
Aaron Roberson has been a classroom educator, literacy coach facilitator, and school principal for well over a decade and is currently a principal in a northwestern suburb of Chicago, IL. He has been recognized by his peers and colleagues for his exemplary work in education that includes the Purdue University’s Outstanding Educator Award and IPLA’s Aspiring Principal Award. He earned his BA in elementary education from Purdue University and his MA in educational administration from Ball State University. Aaron’s wit and precise delivery style will have you informed, entertained, and well on your way to improving your teaching practice.

Cindy McKinney is a teacher, trainer and coach working to promote brain-based teaching methods within her own classroom and to teachers across the United States. She finds joy in working with educators across the country to help them improve their practice through Brain to Brain Teaching activities that she uses everyday in her classroom. Cindy earned her BA in education, is a licensed teacher, and the recipient of the Franklin Initiative Educator of the Year Award. Dr. Randy Averso
Dr. Randy Averso
Dr. Randy Averso is a lifelong educator who has served as a public school teacher, public school principal, associate professor of Educational Administration, Curriculum and Supervision at the University of Oklahoma, and a co-director of the University of Oklahoma K20 Center. Additionally, he has worked in the private sector as a director and consultant of training and development and a director of development and design for online higher education programs. He currently works for Laureate Education in the Laureate Network Office, directing the content and engagement efforts of their centralized digital asset resource center, currently serving 90 member institutions and 25,000 educators worldwide. Randy’s direct and crisp communication style will move you quickly and successfully in improving your professional practice!
Donna Wiktorowski
Donna Wiktorowski
Donna Wiktorowski is a 25 year veteran in education who has taught a variety of grade levels, served as a district math coach and TAP Master Teacher, and is currently an elementary school principal. She thrives on finding new ways to make learning meaningful and engaging for the students and staff that she serves. Donna earned her BA and MA in Elementary Education and her MA in School Administration. She is the recipient of the Armstrong Teacher Educator Award from Indiana University and has presented her work at national conferences across the country. Donna’s simple and practical approach to sharing her strategies will keep you eager to learn more!
